Dave Benzschawel, of City Engineering, would like a small number of volunteers to help him do a pilot stormsewer trap cleaning activity. He believes that volunteer work would be better focused on removing garbage from these traps before it washes in to the Creek. It makes sense to me. If it works out, this work would be expanded to include more storm sewers and more volunteers in future years.

Dave B. is one of our most valuable partners. We should not miss this opportunity to work with him on an innovative solution to garbage in our Creek.
